Busker MP3 Player - for Palm OS 5.0 and above
---------------------------------------------

Using Busker
------------
Using Busker MP3 is easy - download and install it to your Palm OS PDA or smartphone, then feed it an SD card with your MP3's on it. Busker scans the card and builds an index of the tunes it finds...

To get instant music, tap QuickMix - Busker selects 15 tunes at random and begins to play instantly. If you'd rather select a tune, simply tap through the artist and album until you find the track you want, then tap it to play. Busker sets the play list to play the tune you tap, plus those below it.

You can switch between album and playlist view by tapping the icon on the botton left. Explore the menus to add tunes to the playlist, or to play your last 10 or most played 10 tunes. You can also switch from the artist view to a VFS view, if you prefer.

Using Album Art
---------------
Busker shows Album Cover Art when playing back your music - this is a small picture of the music's album cover.
You can add album art to any track by placing a jpeg file in the folder which holds the MP3's. This works best if you keep each album in its own folder. Busker first looks for a file called folder.jpg, then any other jpg file. Busker can also show art files which are embedded within the Mp3 file.

Treo 650 and Treo 600 users can find and download album wirelessly, right from the smartphone. When you play a track without album art, simply press the 'Find Cover Art' button and Busker will go online and look for the cover art for the artist and album. If it finds it, it will be downloaded and saved to your Treo.

Putting Music on an SD Card
---------------------------
Busker plays music from an SD card, so you'll need to get your files from your PC onto a card to play them. There are several ways to do this - the easiest is to use a PC card reader, and drag your MP3 files directly to the card then put it in your PDA. If you don't have a card reader, then Softick's Card Export II lets you mount your PDA on your desktop as a disk, and you can drag MP3 files directly to the SD card. Finally, Palm's QuickInstall tool will let you install MP3 files by HotSync, which is easy, but painfully slow.
