Digital Movie DB
Version 3.3 for PalmOS

You will need to Hotsync Digital30Inst.prc to your PDA.
Once you Hotsync the file to your PDA you will see the BMS DigiM install program in your Unfiled category on your PDA.

Click on the Icon to unpack the Digital Movie files to your PDA. When installation is complete, the BMS DigiM install program will be removed and Digital Movie will launch. Click Close then OK.

Note: Requires PalmOS 3.5 or higher

If you are upgrading from a previous version of this software, simply follow the above "New Installation" procedure. Do NOT remove previous version of this software. If you do delete the previous version, you will lose all your data.

This program will allow you to manage your movies and track who you have lent them out to. You can record movie formats (VHS, DVD, VCD, SVCD, DivX, etc.) as well as other important information, such as if the movie was copied, the original source, and much more. The program is simple and straightforward to use.

This application also has a listing page which provides a customizable filtered summary by location.

List
This will list your entries. You can filter by locations, also create new entries, view Title, Rating and if the movie is available.

Edit
Will allow you to Edit, Delete and Create new entries

Category
This is used to enter the categories that you will use to filter your listed entries (i.e. Comedy, Drama, Action etc).

TIP: This is where you should start first. Go into this section and enter in the Movie Categories you intend on using.

Export
Clicking on the icon, will export the data to Memo Pad, which can be then accessed via your PDA's Desktop Software. The data is exported in CSV format.
Note: This function is only available when application is registered

1. Click on New Icon from either the Edit Menu or any of the listing screens.
2. Enter the Movie Title..
3. Rate the movie if you have seen it.
4. Enter the format (ie DVD, VCD etc).
5. Enter the Storage Code (S-Code) if you have a large library. This will help you find the movie.
6. Then enter the Time Duration and continue on with the rest of the fields.
7. Click on the More Info Tap for additional information..

That's It!!

1. From the Edit Menu click on the Search Icon next to the Title Field.
2. Simply select the Key word you wish to search by.

In this screen shot, the following would be the results depending on the keyword used.

Data Sorting
When creating a new record the data is sorted by the Date field, however it isn't re-sorted if you go back and change the date. If the Entries require Sorting, click on the A-Z sort icon in the Edit Menu.

Installation Files
When you install Digital Movie on your PDA, the following files will be unpacked to you PDA:

If you need to delete Digital Movie delete the Application file. We do not recommend deleting the Resource Library files as they are commonly used by other application.

This program is Shareware.

When you first install this application it will be in 14 Day Trial Mode. After the 14 day trial, the application will no longer run. If you decide not to register it after 14 days, you should delete it from your Palm OS PDA device.

We recommend you should try this application out during the Trial period, before buying.

First Major Update of Digital Movie. This update includes many changes that may not be visible to the user. Some of the changes include:

* Export Data to MemoPad for use through your Desktop Software
* Calculations are now Automatic (all Calc buttons have been removed)
* New entries can be made directly from List View
* Filters now hold (if you click on List and then select a Category, the Category will hold even if you leave the List view ie no longer defaults to All).
* Additional Fields added, ie DTS, Lead Actors, Aspect Ratio etc
