This Palm Application (Creator: AuOf) let you set the Auto-Off delay.

Refer to the Dokument on how to Install the Application

AutoOff main form Values less than 10 seconds are not allowed. You can set the delay up to 9999 seconds.
If you press the Alway On Button, auto off is disabled by seeting the value for SysSetAutoOff to zero.
For quicker access and switching you can enter three different values, which are stored if you leave the App.
the about panel The about panel appears via shortcut A.

How It Works

Screenshot of Preferences Panel
Screenshot of Preferences Panel
The "General Prefences" Panel stores it values in "Saved Preferences" (pdb).
May be the panel looks on your palm enabled device different. The screen shot is from a M505 running PalmOS™ 4.0.
If you change the settings via that panel, the new value is set in the "Saved Preferences" and the autoOff value within PalmOS (function SysSetAutoOffTime ). PalmOS do not use the value from the Saved Preferences Panel nor the value in the "Saved Preferences" (PDB). Those are in the "Saved Preferences" are just for the display of the autoOff value at the panel.

AutoOff do not change the value in the Saved Preferences for the "General Preferences", just the value for the PalmOS. The values you entered in AutoOff are saved in the "Saved Preferences" too, but in a different record than the "General Preferences" Panel makes use off.

I don't want to change the value in the "Saved Preferences" for "General Prefences", because i do not know exactly what side effects it may have. So if you use the Program AutoOff do not get confused by the value shown up in the "General Prefences" panel. The value shown up in Program AutoOff - "current settings" is the value read from PalmOS and not from a record in "Saved Preferences" PDB.

Any comments are appreciated.
