This Palm Application exports Datebook entries to the MemoDB or to a Palm DOC Formated File.
Datebook2Memo_Main.gif

You can choose if you like to export a day, week or a whole month.
Depending on that choosen time span the label of the date selector vary.
By pressing the show button you can change the security settings. This may depend on the version of PalmOS™ the device is runing.
Via the max. Desc. length you can customize how many characters of the description are exported.

You can choose how private marked record should be treated. On devices with Palm OS© version 3.5 or better, you can push the trigger that shows up the current setting and choose between hide, mask or show. If you choose mask records (available since OS 3.5), the description will be -private-. If you choose hide Records, no private records will be exported to the list. On deivices with Palm OS 3.3 or less, you have to switch to the Security App and choose between hide or show.

if you have choosen to export to a doc style formated file, it is checked if the DOC file already exists. Use FileZ, McFile or a other file manager of your choice to rename or delete it.

The title of the Memo or the Doc File depends on the choosen time span. The format of the Date and Time strings depends on the preferences you have choosen in den Preferences App -> Format.
If the decription of the event was cut off, it is indicated by three dots (...).
After the description will be a indicator if a alarm is set (A), if it is a repeating appointment (R) and if a Note (N) is attached.
If the list of Appointments exceeds 4096 Bytes a further Memo is created with the same title and a "Part n"

Via the menu is the dump option available. After choosen, the process starts. Althought there is a cancel button, upto now it cannot be stopped. I am working on this.

Don't forget to backup your data before using it.
Before using that piece of software make a complete backup of you device (and make sure that the restore will work !). I prefer pilot-xfer or SmartBackup for that job.
Altough i am quite carefull, there might be a bug.

Tested on Palm OS 3.3, 3.4, 4.0 and 5.x.
