EzRocker 1.2

Description:

EzRocker allows you to use the 5-Way Navigator as a virtual mouse handler. You can move a virtual pointer in all directions and do action (i.e. as stylus tap) by using the center button.
It's very useful in applications that don't handle 5-way navigation and it's even faster and more accurate than the standard "control to control" 5-way navigation.

Installation:

First download EzRocker.zip from PalmGear.
Decompress it and install EzRocker.prc on your device.

How it works:

Once installed, launch EzRocker and tap the 'Enable' button. Press and hold the 5-way navigator center button until the screen flashes. EzRocker is activated. Then, move the virtual pointer by using 5-way nav direction buttons and do action (i.e. stylus tap) by using the 5-way nav center button.
To deactivate it, press and hold the center button until the screen flashes again.

Options description:

• Max Speed: Set the virtual pointer maximun move speed.
  
• Acceleration: Set the virtual pointer acceleration.
  
• Cursor Style: Let you choose between 3 different type of cursors.
  • Nice: A nice PC-like mouse pointer (Except in ARM native application like HotSync)
  • Cross: A simple cross (You can select its color)
  • Big cross: Same but bigger
• Magnetic control: If checked, the pointer will automatically move to the nearest control when the rocker is released.
  
• Activity Indicator: If checked, draws a small visual indicator in the bottom right corner of the screen when EzRocker is activated (not enabled!). You can also choose its color.
  
• Auto enable after reset: If checked, EzRocker will be automatically enabled after a system reset (only if it was enable before the reset occurs).
• Application Manager: Use the Application Manager to setup EzRocker and the magnetic control feature for each application:
  • EzRocker:
    • Enable: EzRocker will work in normal mode for this application which means that you have to manually activate it.
    • Disable: EzRocker won't be activable when this application is running.
    • Auto On: EzRocker will be automatically activated when the user launches this application.
  • Magnetic controls:
    • Default: Magnetic controls option value of the main settings screen.
    • Force On: Even if it's deactivated in the main settings screen, magnetic controls option will be enabled for this application.
    • Force Off: Even if it's activated in the main settings screen, magentic controls will be disabled for this application.

How to register:

The unregistered version doesn't keep the settings when you leave the settings panel, the Application Manager is limited to one customizable application and the screen flashes randomly asking you to register.

Deinstallation:

Simply delete the application (by using your launcher delete functionnality). With some third party launchers you will have to disable EzRocker first.
