INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Unzipping The Folder

Due to the differing operating system inherent in end users PCs, and complications that may sometimes arise from downloaded files, either due to internet traffic etc, we would like to caution the user of our products that sometimes by double clicking the zipped folder (of downloaded products) it would not facilitate the proper installation of the files/software.

Please follow the proper installation steps as follows :

1) Right click on the zipped folder and select the "Extract all..." option.

2) Alternatively, launch your file extraction program (Winzip, StuffIt Expander, etc) and unzip the    zipped folder in the proper manner.


Backdrop Installation

In order for backdrops to be supported and properly displayed on your Silverscreen Themes, two requirements must be met :

a) Silverscreen III (version 3 or higher)

b) Minimum Palm OS 5 (or higher)

Please follow the proper installation steps as follows :

1) Transfer the relevant images to the Palm "Install Tool" option on your computer.

2) Hotsync the relevant images to your device.

3) On your device, go to the "Options Menu"

4) Select "Silver Prefs..."

5) Select "Theme"

6) Select the "Backdrop" drop-down list - Then select "GIF/JPEG"

7) Now select the relevant image that you want to display on your Silverscreen Theme (the image/s will be at the location that you hotsynced to)

8) Finally click "Ok" and you're done!

Font Installation

For the support of fonts on your Silverscreen Theme(s), "Font Bucket" by Hands High must be installed on your device first. This freeware can be obtained from www.handshigh.com

Please follow the proper installation steps as follows :

1) Ensure that all fonts to be used for the Silverscreen Theme(s) must be installed to the device's RAM. Please ensure that the "Font Bucket" program is also installed or residing on the device's RAM for it to function properly.

2) Launch the "Font Bucket" program on your device and check to see if all the relevant fonts that you've hotsynced is present. Then exit the program.

3) Next, go to the Silverscreen "Options Menu"

4) Select "Silver Prefs..."

5) Now you will see "Tab Font" and "Icon Font"

6) Select either one and then select "Font Bucket..."

7) Now select the relevant font that you require and then exit.

8) You're done!
