Rotary 1.1 Documentation
Rotary is a hard key launcher application. Holding down a hard button will bring up four applications. Continuosly holding the hard button will switch the application to launch. When the hard button is released, the application at the 12 o'clock position will be launched.
Installation and setup
To install Rotary, hotsync the "Rotary QLauncher.prc" file into your PDA. After you have succesfully installed Rotary, you can launch the program by tapping the "Rotary" icon.
At the bottom of the application, there are four button icons indicating the four hard buttons on your PDA. A green icon indicates that the hard button is assigned to Rotary. You can assign the hard button to Rotary by tapping the "Assign to Rotary" checkbox.
Once assigned to Rotary, you can select a maximum of four applications to the particular hard button. You can leave the application to "None" if you do not want to assign any application. To select an application, tap the selection box. You will be presented with a list of applications on your PDA.
You can setup additional options by tapping the options button at the bottom of the screen. The available options are
New in version 1.20, you can set the amount of transparency and the text and background colour by tapping on the Graphics button. To change the background colour, tap on the Background box and adjust the slider to change the amount of red, green and blue. The changes will be reflected on the box shown. To change the text colour, tap the Text box and repeat the step above. Tap save to save the setting or cancel to abort all changes.
To disable an application, tap the checkbox beside the application that you want to disable.
Rotary is a 30-days demo program. After 30 days, the program will be disabled until you register the application on Palmgear. To register Rotary open the menu bar and tap Register. Enter the registration code given in the text field. You can also check your application version here.
