User Manual

This document describes how to use tRSS version 1.0.1 : tRSSLite (in User Manual ,application is running on
the emulator that comes with the J2ME Wireless Toolkit 2.2. It assumes you have basic knowledge
of how the emulator works). Make sure tRSS is highlighted, and choose Launch from the soft button
menu to begin the application. A authentication screen will appear.

The following sections describe how to perform various tasks in the application.

Online Mode

The first time you start tRSS in the emulator (or on a device).

From the main menu, select Choose Online to start browsing feed listings.A Use Airtime screen will appear.
Click Yes for continue.

A List of topics screen will appear.You can select your interesting topic (left and right arrow)
and browse feed listings(top and bottom arrow) from directional keypad.

If you need to save a interesting topic , mark this topic from the soft button menu.
Use the select button to indicate which news you want to save.A text 's color will
change to red color and select save option from menu to save it.This news can read again
after you stop browser in offline mode.

If you need to change feed site ,selecting the Menu button will bring up a menu .
Pressing the Add menu will add a new feed site for you and pressing the Edit menu
will edit selected feed site .If you want to delete feed site ,pressing Delete menu .

Offline Mode

You may download news listings onto your device to enable browsing them offline.
Although there is a cost up-front to download the schedule data, you save on subsequent
connections to the server because you can read interesting news on the device itself.
