1. What is Z/con Iconset (top)
Z/con Iconset is a collection of High Resolutions icons to be used for:

• Iambic Agendus
• DateBk5 - v.5.0c preview 8 and higher support high resolution icons on Sony OS 4.x devices.
• HandyShopper - v.2.7.3 and higher support high resolution icons on Sony OS 4.x devices.
• Ultrasoft DataShield - Ultrasoft is considering whether to support high resolution icons on Sony OS 4.x devices (please direct further inquiries to Ultrasoft).

We have also converted these hundreds of icons into Low-Rez and Grayscale icons for those who are not using a hi-rez device or want to share these icons with others who use lower resolution screens. Please read Copy Rights Issue.

Since Z/con Iconset is best managed by Icon Manager, so it works on any Palm™ based device with Palm OS 3.0 or higher, including devices from Palm, Handspring, Sony, etc. Icon Manager lets you create or edit icon sets for use with HandyShopper, DateBk5, DataShield, and Agendus (formerly known as Action Names). Icon Manager also supports high density icons on Palm OS 5.0 devices. Please see Icon Manager readme file for more information on operating Icon Manager.

3. How do I use Z/con Iconset (top)
Please read a Known Issues from Icon Manager.

There are 3 prc files under /install/ directory:

• Z_con_LoRez_DEMO.prc - Lo-Rez and Greyscale Icons to be used under low-rez/greyscale device. Please install this file if you are using:
  • Lo-Rez/Greyscale devices (i.e. Palm M505, M515, M105)
  • DateBk5 v.5.0b or older
• Z_con_DEMO.prc - Hi-Rez, Lo-Rez and Greyscale Icons to be used under Hi-Rez, Lo-Rez and Greyscale devices. Please install this file if you are using:
  • Hi-Rez supported devices (i.e. Palm Tungsten)
  • DateBk5 v.5.0c or better
• IconMgr.prc - Application to control the iconset for all devices. Please install this application in order to manage your icons.

   • Open Icon Manager
   • Select Z/con DEMO
   • Tap on the dropdown menu
   • Set it as a default
   • To customize your favorite icons, please read Icon Manager Manual

    

2. DateBk5 v.5.0c / DateBk5 v. 5.0b and older
• DateBk5 v.5.0c (top)
  It is highly recommended to use DateBk5 v.5.0c for displaying high resolution icons.
  • Open Icon Manager
  • Select Z/con DEMO
  • Tap on the dropdown menu and 'Rename..."
  • Choose default name... as "for DateBk5"
  • Set it as default

• DateBk5 v. 5.0b and older (top)
  DateBK5 v. 5.0b and older version can only display low resolution icons. Please check PimlicoSoftware website.
  • Install Z_con_LoRez_DEMO.prc
  • Open Icon Manager
  • Select Z/con LoRez DEMO
  • Tap on the dropdown menu and select "Rename"
  • Choose default name... as "for DateBk5"
  • Set it as default
  • To customize your favorite icons, please read Icon Manager Manual

   

3. HandyShopper (top)
   • Open Icon Manager
   • Select Z/con DEMO
   • Tap on the dropdown menu and select 'Rename..."
   • Choose default name... as "for HandyShopper"
   • Set it as default

4. Ultrasoft DataShield (top)
   • Open Icon Manager
   • Select Z/con DEMO

Fantanstic icons with lots of choice. Useful and cute - great high definition. Difficult to work out which one to use as there are so many great icons!

This is the best of the Hires icons sets I have found, I've bought several. The selection, the quality, and the colors are all exceptional. There isn't a bunch of flags, numbers, smiley faces and other wasted icons. This a very comprehensive set, 400 very useful icons. I am using them with a Tungsten C and Agendus Pro.
