All the opponents are moving from the one end of the screen to the other. When they reach the end of the game board, they move one row downwards. The moving speed of the opponents increases, when their number decreases, i.e. if you have shot some of them.

A flying object passes the upper part of the game board during certain periods of time. If you hit it, you can get a bonus. There are 5 kinds of bonuses:

   decreases the moving speed of the opponents for a certain time; 

   increases the moving speed of the player; 

   you can shoot down more than one opponent with one shot; 

   builds a defense wall around the player; 

   gives you a bonus life

At the start of each game you have three lives.

How to play Galaga

The enemy ships are moving according to pre-defined trajectories, circles and semicircles whereas at the end they are aligned in rows. Then the ships start moving leftwards/rightwards till they reach the end of the window. Each time the enemies reach its edge all rows get one step closer to your position. Your aim is to fire at the enemy ships until you destroy them. Be aware of the fact that there are three types of enemy ships:

  If you hit them, they turn into opponents of the second type (yellow ships).

  If you hit them, they turn into opponents of the third type (red ships).

  If you hit them, you destroy them.

 At the end of each level there is a bonus-ship. If you manage to hit it you will be able to get one of the following bonuses:

  this bonus increases the number of your lives

  your weapons get stronger

  you can shoot down more than one enemy ship with one shot

How to play Space Invaders

The ships of the space invaders, aligned in rows, are moving leftwards/rightwards across the screen. Each time the enemies come to the end of the window all rows get one step closer to your position.

Your aim is to fire at the invaders until you destroy them. At the bottom of the screen there are several groups of asteroids that protects you from the invaders' fire. Each time you or your enemy hit an asteroid it gets "broken". When the asteroid is hit at the same place for the second time, it becomes cracked and you gets more vulnerable.

At the start of each game you have three lives. Be aware of the fact that there are three types of enemy ships:
